Might I suggest a novel that speculates widely about the Philly
Exp. It's "Thin Air" by George E. Simpson and Neal R. Burger. You
should be able to find it at a better library or possibly a used book
store. They develop something of a theory, albeit not in depth, about
what they think might have happened. Deals with a government coverup,
teleportation, and even UFOs. Great stuff!

Which reminds me. Does anyone know where Simpson and Burger got their
information? Have that written anything else related to the P.E.? They
mention a man named Emil Kurtnauer having been a scientist working on
the project in its early days. Bielek said the same thing in an
interview. Was there really an Emil Kurtnauer?
